William “Bill” Dean Lovin

William Dean “Bill” Lovin, 78, of Morristown passed away peacefully Thursday, October 1, 2015 after an extended illness. Bill was born in June, 1937 and for about 50 years was a Barber at his Buffalo Trail Barber Shop in Morristown; a place he loved. He also served in the Army Reserves and was a life-long member of Morristown Masonic Lodge 231. He was a member of Noe’s Chapel United Methodist Church.

Bill was preceded in death by his mother and father Della and Brownlow Lovin;brother and sister-in-law, Kenneth and Geneva Lovin.

He is survived by his wife Rose Ellen (Bradley) Lovin; daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and David Surrette; grandson, Brandon Surrette and wife Chantilly; great-grandchildren, Oakley and Hendrix; daughter, Lori and son-in-law Taylor Jessee; grandson, John Taylor Jessee, his sister and brother-in-law Maxine and Byron Callicutt; sister, Betty Jean Carter and sister-in-law, Judy Blake. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, Kathy, Donna, Susanne, Keith, Jay, David and their families.

Military graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 3, 2015 in Hamblen Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Noe’s Chapel United Methodist Church. The family would like to take this opportunity to thank Dr. Rajeev Gupta for his exceptional care.
